Data deletion
This page explains how to remove data inFeed stores when you connect Instagram or TikTok, or when you uninstall the Shopify app. Register this URL with Meta as the data deletion instructions URL, and the callback URLs listed below in Instagram business login settings.
From the inFeed app
- Open inFeed in Shopify admin → Settings.
- Disconnect the Instagram or TikTok source. We revoke the platform token, clear it from our database, and delete imported posts and media for that source.
- Uninstall inFeed from Shopify to deactivate the shop. Shopify then sends a shop/redact webhook and we delete remaining shop data.
From Instagram
Remove inFeed in Instagram → Settings → Apps and websites (or Accounts Center). Meta calls our deauthorize callback, which revokes and clears stored Instagram tokens. A separate data deletion request from Instagram removes that account’s imported posts and media.
Callbacks (POST, signed_request):
- Deauthorize:
/webhooks/meta/deauthorize - Data deletion:
/webhooks/meta/data-deletion
From TikTok
Revoke inFeed in TikTok → Settings → Security → Apps and websites (Manage app permissions). Disconnecting in inFeed also calls TikTok’s official token revoke endpoint and deletes that source’s imported posts.
Email request
Email hello@infeed.app from the address on the shop or social account. We delete or confirm deletion of the matching shop or source.
What we delete
- Instagram and TikTok access and refresh tokens
- Imported posts, captions, and stored media files
- Shop records, sessions, and order attribution after Shopify’s mandatory redaction webhooks
